Chittenango Falls, in Cazenovia NY is a 167 foot waterfall.  It is a very scenic location and well worth the short walk.  This is a NY State Park, with marked trails, and picnic areas.  Not far from Utica.

Approximately a quarter mile trail leads down to the stream below the falls.  At a point on the stairway that descends to the stream you can stop for photos, as well as on the bridge over the stream.  There is another set of stairs going back up the other side allowing you to go all the way around the falls and take photos from a number of perspectives.

Take a tripod, and utilize slow shutter speeds.  Enjoy the park surrounding the falls.  It makes a nice day trip!
