Tamron Announcing New 150-500 Shortly? This zoom range would be pretty useful.  However the 200-500 is is said to replace is not a terribly fast lens.  So I’m not sure about using it for sports.  But maybe landscapes or other work that doesn’t require an f2.8 aperture.  http://zite.to/HwmN1u
